Set Up Auto Pay by Credit Card Through Customer Portal

There is a small $2.95 convenience fee charged per transaction for this service by Paymentus. Transactions are limited to $500 at this time. If the bill is over $500, multiple transactions will be required to complete payment. Customers can call 844-291-3552 to pay by automated phone system. This service also includes the convenience fee.

Things needed to access the online or telephone options.

  • Location number
  • Customer number
  • Last 4-digits of primary account holder’s Social Security number which is used for account authentication. For Commercial Accounts, last 4-digits of Employer Identification Number (EIN) is used.

Paymentus is a third party vendor.  Any payment options made by bank draft set up through HVUD and online thru Paymentus will not automatically update OR cancel the other payment option.  These two options are not linked.  Please notify HVUD regarding bank draft changes and login to Paymentus for online payment changes made with Paymentus. Any bank draft remains in effect until cancelled through HVUD customer service at 615-352-7076.

IF THE ACCOUNT IS PAST DUE:

Please note, past due balances may cause interruption to service.

If service is disconnected for non-payment it will not be restored until the total past due amount and all penalties and fees are paid in full.  Please contact Customer Service at (615) 352-7076. Payments made through the system without contacting Harpeth Valley Utilities District will not automatically restore service.

NOTE: A service charge of $30 will be made for each trip to the premises for the purpose of disconnection or reconnection for failure to pay a bill when due.

NOTE: A $30 fee is to be charged for any check returned by a bank.
